Tracam® TL6C. Tracks with corners! TL6C is a very flexible system, allowing changes of track direction to allow coverage of multiple areas with less activity with one camera patrolling the same track, moving between areas or adjoining buildings. This system is ideally suited to large Retail or Distribution areas where shopping or racking aisles are not all laid out in the same direction. TL6C uses an articulated VTU to negotiate the changes of track direction and is otherwise the same as TL6, incorporating a fully programmable high speed dome (PTZ) camera mounted on a carriage, which can move along a track suspended from any type of ceiling. Using the Tracam® Controller or integrated with other proprietary controllers the user can control the movement of the camera and video Transport Unit (VTU) along the track. The CCTV camera on the VTU with its 22 x optical zoom lens, (35 x day/night with electronic image stabilization, (EIS), optional), 360 degree pan & 240 degree tilt can be controlled manually or programmed to move to pre-defined settings, thus enabling the Tracam VTU to patrol an entire area under manual or automatic control. The Tracam® Image Orientation Correction (IOC) facility provides the viewer with an upright image as the camera tilts through the vertical when following people who walk directly underneath the cameras location. The Video Transport Unit (VTU) moves along an extruded aluminium track. The VTU is concealed within a mirrored or tinted cowling. Customers can chose the cowling finish best suited for the location - light or dark mirrored, smoked or clear.
